Who I am and how I work

I believe all aspects of how we relate to ourself and each other are important, and this shapes how I work. I welcome the full complexity of who we are – our past, our culture, and our identity.

In my work, I combine traditional talking therapy with somatic, mindfulness-based, and creative practices, bridging modern science and ancient wisdom. This allows us to explore not only what’s spoken, but also what’s unconsciously held in the body – the stress, memories, or emotions that may not yet have words.

Another part of my work is gently exploring how culture, identity, and belonging shape our lives.

We’re all shaped not only by the cultures we live in, but also by the ones we inherit – the beliefs, values, and stories passed down through generations. Some of these influences feel grounding and familiar. Others can feel mixed, or even conflicting. Often, we carry cultural meaning without realising it, and it unconsciously shapes how we think, feel, and relate to the world.

I’m mindful of how culture, identity, and belonging can influence our sense of self. Together, we can bring these influences into awareness. The aim is not to label them as “good” or “bad”, but to create a space where every part of your experience can be acknowledged and understood for what it means for you. For some, this feels especially relevant when you’ve lived between cultures, grown up in immigrant family, navigated a multicultural relationship, or felt “in-between” in your sense of self.

What’s we truly long for isn’t to fit in, but to feel safe, accepted, and understood for who we are. In our work together, we’ll explore what belonging means to you, and what helps you feel more rooted within yourself and your story.

Having lived and worked across different countries, my practice is a place where all parts of your identity are welcomed and respected.

I invite you to bring your full self into the room.
