Find Your Light: Before You Go
A psychological preparation program for employees and their families, delivered before departure
International relocation changes more than practical life. People may be prepared for visas, housing and logistics, but very few are prepared for the psychological side of building a life somewhere new.
This program helps organisations in preparing their employees and families for the realities of relocation: stress, uncertainty, cultural adjustment, family pressure and the emotional impact of starting over in a new environment while continuing to perform well professionally.
Who is it for
• International employees preparing to relocate
• Leadership and executive relocations
• International hires and global talent programs
• Accompanying partners and families
• Teams relocating together
• Global mobility and relocation programs
Why It Matters
Without proper support, international transition can place pressure on wellbeing, relationships, family life and long-term adjustment. These challenges often affect employee focus, stability, engagement and overall relocation.
Find Your Light: Before You Go helps organisations ensure employees and families feel more prepared, supported and equipped earlier in the transition process, before it begins to affect both the employee and the organisation.
The Approach
Six structured sessions • before departure • individual, group, or family • in person or online
Find Your Light: Before You Go combines tailored reflective exercises, practical support tools and skills to use them for people preparing for international relocation.
The program draws on Transactional Analysis psychotherapy, neuroscience, Lifestyle Medicine coaching, and lived experience across multiple cultures. It builds clarity around what cultural transition means on a psychological level.
Sessions focus on communication, emotional fluency, stress awareness, family and team dynamics, and healthier ways of navigating change before departure.
